BERNINA Embroidery Software 9 – DesignerPlus and Creator
Last week I had the opportunity to go to Bernina RSA for my Bernina Version 9 Software training!
It was Excitement from the start !!
From opening the packaging to installing the software and Wi-Fi Device. I was amazed as to how quick and easy the Installation was .
Installing BERNINA Embroidery Software 9 has never been easier or more flexible thanks to the improved installation process.
In a snap, the software is installed on your computer. Plus, you can use the software on multiple computers just by signing in and out!
The Home screen is neat, easy to navigate and interactive with links to loads of tutorials and projects.
The Great part for me was that you can even design your own quilt or create cross stitch designs!
New tools available such as the Branching and Weld tool to make for effortless digitizing and I love the applique tool with which you can even digitize holes and create a cutwork object to match your applique design.
It is also now easy to export an SVG file for cutting of applique pieces, with your cutwork tool or cutting machine of your choice.
With new built in designs available, it is quick and easy to turn pictures into stitches automatically or scan and digitize your own photo.
Designs can be saved in any format, to be used on other brands of embroidery machines, not only Bernina.
Designs can be sent to your embroidery machine via Bernina Wi-Fi device.

How friendly is the version 9 software to people who have never had software before?
V9 software is very user friendly with tutorials visible on Home page as well as built in comprehensive Help functions and user manual.
How different is it for those who have the version 8 software – why should they upgrade?
